Hi, I’m Janet Hoyt-d’Eon, owner of Second Wind Coaching & Organizing, a personal coaching and professional organizing business in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I offer services to help people get organized, gain clarity and inspired to live the life they truly want.

A life-long learner, I have had an interest in wellness and personal development since I was a teenager.  This combined with my love for planning and bringing order and organization to a space or project laid the foundation for my business.

Formally educated in health promotion, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from Dalhousie University.  I bring extensive experience from my work in the non-profit sector, organizing programs and events, conducting needs assessments and tailoring services and supports for individuals with special needs. Skills I now apply to my residential, small business and personal organizing and coaching services.

I credit the individuals I have met through my work in the disability field for teaching me empathy, learning to listen and never underestimating your own abilities.  Each one of us has individual needs and strengths we can use to be more productive and reach our goals and potential. As your personal coach and organizer, I offer a friendly, warm, open approach and empathy when I collaborate with you to create solutions to fit your needs, use your strengths and achieve your goals.

I am a trained Professional Organizer and a member of the Professional Organizers in Canada, POC (www.organizersincanada.com).  As a professional organizer my aim when I work with you is to get the source of your issue, find systems and create an action plan for organizing your home, office, and personal schedule so you are more productive and have time to enjoy life.

A certified life coach, I completed my training through the Centre of Applied Neuroscience (www.canc.ca) in 2010.  Through this program I learned to integrate principles of neuroscience, positive psychology and mindfulness into my coaching practice. Applying these principles is powerful in helping you to quiet your doubts and fears, sort through clutter, organize your surroundings and mind, gain clarity, and move you to take action to get you where we want to be.

Second wind is about finding renewed energy, strength and focus.  As a competitive track athlete and coach for many years, I relate well to this concept.  I bring that same spirit to my business.  Let me help you find your second wind and bring clarity and inspiration back into your home, office and your life.
